It's been Oh, 25 - 30 years since I last wielded a beachcaster in earnest. however one or two shopping trips on Ebay and I'm good to go. Picked myself up a Diawa Sandstorm rod and an ambassadeur 6000 loaded with 15lb mono. But where to go? East coast / West coast! Really spoilt for choice living here.
The web was my first stop looking for marks in the area and Achnahaird Bay stuck out as a pretty interesting stating point.
